Welcome Back!

It’s been over a year since I posted an update on this blog. I began writing this blog as a way to document my progress with the Prader-Willi Syndrome Assoication’s (PWSA) annual Lose-a-Thon. I wanted to lose weight and although I didn’t reach my aggressive goal, I did lose 20 pounds.

In the last 15 months I managed to gain it all back and then some, I’m ashamed to say. It’s very easy to pin-point the reason why. From about September of 2009 until very recently, I ate like the world was coming to an end. I ate without care or reason. I ate whatever I wanted, as much as wanted. I find it odd that I apparently wanted to eat to the point of painful over-satiation. It was ridiculous.

I’ve known for a long time that I was out of control but I couldn’t seem to take back control. I felt my clothes getting tighter and tighter, I felt horrible and my body disgusted me. I knew I had to make a change. So, recently I have. I plan to talk more about that and that’s the reason why I decided to start up this blog again.

It’s going to be bit different format than it started out. I’m not here to solely track my progress and reflect on my feelings. I plan to also share tips I’ve found, recipes that I like and products that have caught my eye.

I hope this journey I’m on will serve to help other who may be taking back control and embarking on a similar journey.

There will more to come on my reasons for and thoughts on making the changes I’ve decided to enact. For now, I’ll leave this as a re-introduction to my blog: molzerhealth.blogspot.com.
